Facing outcry from fans, Ford has finally announced a Sasquatch offroad package for the new Bronco, which will include a seven speed manual transmission option among several other exclusive features.

The new Sasquatch package is all too offroad geared, coming equipped with offroad-ready equipment straight from the factory: 35-inch tires, an electronic transfer case, front and rear locking axles, a 1.2-inch lift, heavy-duty Bilstein shock absorbers, and of course the 7speed manual.

The package follows a collection of months of outcry from fans through petitions and tweets and whatnot, with a manual-asking petition gathering over 11,500 signatures. The petition subsequently asked Ford to make the 310-hp 2.7-liter EcoBoost V-6 available in Broncos with the Sasquatch package, but that does not seem too likely.

The Bronco configurator is set to go live in October, and sales for both the two-door and four-door versions will begin next spring.
