If you’re into bikes, then you’ve probably came across the name ‘Kawasaki’. Infact, it could also be your dream to own a Kawasaki bike someday. Well, not just any Kawasaki bike but to be very specific, the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R. Guess what? You’ll be delighted to know that Kawasaki Bangladesh is trying to help you fulfil your dream and might have taken you one step closer to making your lifetime wish come true! They just brought in a Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R to Bangladesh.

“now the ‘Demon on Wheels is finally here in Bangladesh.”

I’m sure many of you know that there is a displacement restriction on bikes those can be imported to Bangladesh and to be rode legally and the limitation is no more than 165cc. YES 165cc! You may think living in Bangladesh is like the worst nightmare for bike enthusiasts as most proper sports bike have an engine displacement of at least 500cc and you may be right to some extent. Then how did Kawasaki manage to bring in a Ninja ZX-10R in Bangladesh? The Ninja ZX-10R is a sports bike made in Japan which is the successor of the ZX-9R that was originally released in 2004. The super lightweight body, the ultra-narrow chassis and the large radial brakes made the bike no less than a ‘Demon on Wheels’. It also has an extraordinary heritage of being the five times World Superbike Champion! And now the ‘Demon on Wheels’ is finally here in Bangladesh on special request from the government. But sadly, the bike has been brought in for the sake of display purpose only and might as well be showcased in the Kawasaki Bangladesh showroom like this forever!

“The bike has a top speed of a whooping 290km/h and can reach 97km/h from rest within only 2.8s!”

You might be wondering what’s the point of importing a bike that will never touch the roads of Dhaka for even once in its lifetime. But according to Ninja they did this only to improve the sales of their bikes in Bangladesh by letting the bikers of Bangladesh learn and know about the success of Kawasaki bikes with a visual representation of their flagship bike upfront. And the Ninja ZX-10R is surely a bike to drool over. This one-liter monster can produce a staggering 197 horsepower along with 114Nm of torque that could only be controlled by the two large four piston Brembo disc brakes in the front and a single disc in the rear with aluminium single-piston caliper. The 17-inch rims along with the factory wide tires help to keep the bike glued to the ground and comes with other electronic assists such as S-KTRC (Sport-Kawasaki Traction Control) that also helps to improve the handling of the bike. The bike has a top speed of a whooping 290km/h and can reach 97km/h from rest within only 2.8s!

Although you might not be able to buy the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R as of now and drive legally on the streets of Bangladesh but it’s surely going to be a one hell of an experience to go and see the bike upfront at their outlet and in my opinion this is an opportunity that you shouldn’t miss.
