According to a recently published FCA document, the model will enter production in the second quarter of 2021 when the regular Wagoneer is also set to hit the assembly line. The SUV will likely ride on the same platform as the Ram 1500, and is said to become the most sophisticated vehicle FCA will offer. As far as we know, the Grand Wagoneer will come in a plug-in hybrid variant with approximately 30 miles (48 kilometers) of electric range, sporting a level 3 semi-autonomous driving system. In accordance with its platform similarities with the Ram 1500, we can expect rear and all wheel drive variants driven by by an 8speed ZF transmission.While we don’t have much to go off on currently, this teaser spells the beginning of the teaser campaign and we can expect to see less “hinty” teasers in the forthcoming months.
