Facing a lack of demand, Hyundai decided to discontinue the manual transmission for the Hyundai Venue crossover starting from the 2021 model year.
The Venue was initially launched with the option for a manual alongside a CVT, where the former was the standard on the base SE trim along with the option for to opt for a CVT. The remaining SEL and Denim models only came with the CVT. Now, Hyundai is no longer going to offer the stick shift in any Venue models.
As of now, Hyundai offers a six speed manual transmission in its Accent sedan, Elantra GT and Veloster. If you want the stick in a crossover though, the Subaru Crosstrek and Kia Soul can present themselves as alternatives.
