Hybrid skepticism in light of Bangladesh

Although nowadays we see a fair share of hybrid vehicles on the roads, the majority of Bangladesh is still doubtful of hybrids. This can be seen in their hesitance to buy a hybrid car, or suggesting against others buying one. This hesitance stems mainly due to either a lack of knowledge about hybrids, or the lack of experts for hybrid repairs.This reluctance comes to light when you see the difference between Bangladesh and the largest exporter of cars here, Japan. The Premio, Allion and Axio saturated streets of Bangladesh differ far from that of Japan. These “national” cars of Bangladesh are a rare sight in Japan, where in the 1500cc+ range they drive mostly hybrids. If you look at vehicles on auction, the Premios and Allions pale in comparison to Priuses.
