Bikes of the Month | September

September! Another month of 2019, other bikes of the month on Turbine with some interesting two-wheelers. The interesting part is that all nine bikes here are the most popular. We encourage everyone to rediscover the sheer, simple joys that come from riding bikes. Hopefully, these bikes will motivate new riders.

 

Bajaj V15

Built from the metal sourced from INS Vikrant aircraft carrier, Bajaj’s new V15 commuter bike is synonymous with strength and ruggedness. The commuter bike employs a new DTS-i engine pumping out a decent power output.

Honda Dio

It now gets new graphics on the body, which makes it look much funkier. The front apron has been slightly tweaked and the scooter now gets a dual-tone colour scheme as well.

Kawasaki KSR Pro 110

A mini sports bike that belongs to “Supermoto” with a small wheelbase and small dimensions. It comes with a longer and flexible suspension system with maximum ground clearance than a regular street bike.

UM Runner Renegade Sport

UM’s foray introduction of Renegade Sport S cruiser, plucked from its global bouquet for the domestic market. It is projected as the most affordable offering from American bike in Bangladesh. The bike has been styled tastefully and dons a classic design.

Suzuki Intruder 150

The Intruder comes with advanced fuel injection technology equipped with 6 sensors to calculate the optimum amount of fuel to be injected for better combustion efficiency, thereby improving fuel efficiency and providing accurate throttle response at all rpm to make you every ride even more exciting.

Suzuki Access 125

It gets a retro-design with a rectangular headlamp having a chrome surround which adds to the premium of the scooter. While the front end is not exactly stylish, the apron is flanked by two longish indicators which are the only styling bits upfront on the Access 125.

TVS Apache RTR 160 4V

It is based on a completely new 4-valve platform, giving it new styling and design, new suspension and chassis and significant updates to the engine as well. Its oil-cooled engine that produces 16.56 bhp of maximum power and 14.8 Nm of peak torque for the EFI variant and 16.28 bhp for the carb version.

Hero Hunk

The bike is all about muscular looks and even the name suggests what the target audience will be. Features on the Hunk include an altered visor, a digital meter console, body-coloured mirrors and LED tail-lamp.

Honda CBR 150R

This performance bike is the younger and more docile sibling of the popular CBR 250R. A host of design cues have been picked up from the elder one but it differentiates itself with the two-tone paint scheme Honda uses. It has managed to bring in a sense of sportiness and fuel efficiency as well. A bit powerful than its rival, it helps Honda break into the growing segment of affordable sport bikes.
