All hail the Estate Gods, BMW just announced an M3 Touring for the first time ever

If one asked me, “which manufacturer makes the best wagons?” My answer without any hesitation would be BMW. Like, take the E39 M5 Touring as an example. Everything about the wagon is just so perfect it makes me drool whenever I see it virtually. However, recently the stars have aligned for us wagon fans, as BMW has started giving us hope by teasing the new M3 Touring design. Posted on the BMW M official Instagram account, the German automaker also used two words- “Mic Drop” in addition to the usual hashtags.  And if I had to be honest, my jaw dropped the moment I saw the post.

However, the M3 Touring will house the same power plant options as the upcoming M3 sedan. The regular edition will be complemented with a twin-turbo 3.0-litre inline-six making 473 horsepower with 442 lb-ft of torque. A Competition version of the wagon would bring 503 horsepower to the family dinner. It would also be available with either rear- or all-wheel drive, and manual transmission will be offered as an option. Hence, we can say that the wagon is being designed to bring back the smile classic BMWs brought on our faces.
